Thursdays with thread What Early Educators Need to Know About the COVID19 Vaccine

Add to Calendar Thursday, May 27, 2021
6:00 PM - 7:30 PM

As an early childhood educator, getting vaccinated is one of the easiest things you can do to stay healthy. Vaccines work with your immune system so it will be ready to fight the virus if you are exposed.

At this Thursdays with thread, learn about the State recommendations and benefits of the COVID-19 vaccine with special guests Dr. Elizabeth Ohlsen, Family Medicine Physician with the State of Alaska Department Health and Social Services (DHSS) on COVID-19 Response, and Dr. Anne Zink, Chief Medical Officer for the State of Alaska.

Don’t miss this special opportunity to ask questions related to the COVID-19 vaccine!

The workshop will be facilitated by thread board member, Olivia Foster, RN, Population Health Care Coordinator at the Providence Valdez Medical Center.

Effective April 1, 2021, educators must be present and visible on video camera for the entire class time.
