The Science of Attachment Supporting Caregiver Success in Early Childhood

Denali Family Services if excited to offer this 3-day mini-series focus on early childhood attachment and how you, as caregivers, can help young children feel safe and secure through trusting relationships.

This trauma training series provides foundational knowledge on trauma-informed care, including:

  • Healthy early childhood development and needs
  • Trauma's impact on the developing brain, attachment relationships, and behavior
  • Caregiving strategies to nurture healthy brain development, build secure attachments relationships, and promote resiliency in early childhood

This class is grounded in research from leading experts in trauma and early childhood development. Our goal is to promote healthier futures for Alaskan youth by raising awareness through education and collaboration. Be prepared to learn, practice skills, and share with others in a space dedicated to the needs of young children.

This training consists of three sessions. All three sessions must be completed in order to receive credit. No partial credit will be given.

Session 3: November 12, 12:00 - 3:00pm
