The Heartsaver: First Aid, CPR & AED Certification is a research-proven course from the American Heart Association. Facilitated by Mat-Su Med Training, the Heartsaver course teaches the critical skills needed to respond to and manage an emergency until emergency medical services arrives. Skills covered in this course include first aid basics, choking relief, and what do for sudden cardiac arrest.
Upon completion of this course, students will receive a Heartsaver First Aid, CPR & AED card from the American Heart Association in first aid, CPR, and AED for adults, children, and infants. This card is good for 2 years. Cards will be distributed by Mat-Su Med Training following course completion and processing. Instructors will provide information on certification cards during class.
Class time is scheduled to end at 2:00 pm but this time may vary. The course costs $75.00, and registration must be paid at least two days in advance of the class to secure a space.
