During the hour of class students will be introduced to various Lathin America dances and music. Zumba class will also incorporate multiple non-Latin music rhythms such as jazz, hip hop, African, belly-dance, bhangra, Bollywood, calpso and dance-hall. Zumba is an exercise fitness combing all elements of fitness, cardio, muscle conditioning balance and flexibility. Zumba routines incorporate interval training while alternating fast and slow rhythms. Class participants will learn many dances such as cumbia, merengue, salsa, sama, calypso, tango, flamenco, bachata, and hip-hop.
