Strengthening Families Protective Factors are new framework for child abuse and neglect prevention and promoting optimal child development. The protective factors shift the focus of child abuse and neglect prevention efforts from family risks and deficits to family strengths and resiliency. By recognizing and building on existing strengths within communities and families, we can support all families in providing a healthy, safe, and loving environment for children. This training consists of four sessions
, and all four must be attended

Free to early educators from a program which is either participating in Learn & Grow or is DEED grant funded. Please include name of program during registration to assist thread in identifying educators who may take this training at no cost.
The cost for early educators from a program not enrolled in Learn & Grow or for those not in a DEED grant funded proram is $75.
