What does a child learn about your classroom when they first walk in? What is at their level? Is it safe and nurturing? Are they learning something new? Is it safe to explore? Is it predictable? We will discuss these questions and many more! Come ready to share about your space and brainstorm new ways to honor the children in your classroom, their developing brains and make an inclusive, predictable and learning-focused environment. There will be a focus on meeting the needs of students with autism and other low-incidence disabilities, setting up for inclusive interactions with peers.
