From Green Thumbs to Greenhouses

Agriculture is a vital and important part of Alaska's economy and community resources. Children are fascinated with how plants grow and are avid learners. This fun, hand-on workshop will teach providers how easy it is to share agriculture and gardening with children, and ways to incorporate it into your early childhood program. Join us for a 2 hour outdoor workshop focusing on agriculture, transplanting for the greenhouse and a specila make it and take it mini greenhouse activity. Providers please encourage your families and all aged children to attend. There will be lots of giveaways and doorprizes!

Cost is $15.00 for providers who attend and want it to count towards training hours. Please register early.

There is no fee for families and children and registration is not required.
