Yes! Infants and toddlers are natural scientists. Just like scientists they use the same skills to understand the world around them. Part 1 of this workshop offers both knowledge and application about how infant and toddler teachers can help infants and toddlers develop these important higher-order cognitive skills to build a culture of learning like a scientist in the classroom.

- How to teach inquiry skills to infants and toddlers.
- What types of environments and materials support science with infants and toddlers?
- Practice the skills of scaffolding, inquiry, science speak, and communication.
