Sensory Processing and Early Childhood Mental Health - March

Faciliateted by the Programs for Infants and Children (PIC), this series will be held on March 24 and March 26th from 12:30 - 1:30 pm. This class will include:

  • Understanding the different sensory systems of young children and how they vary from adults
  • Basic information about sensory processing and self-regulation
  • We will explore what behaviors may be seen when children have difficulty with different sensory systems
  • Explore emotional factors and reactivity that influences sensory regulation
  • Learn strategies to address sensory related behaviors and when to seek additional supports

This training is a WEBINAR so it will be offered through Zoom Video Conferencing which requires participants to have access to a computer, internet, e-mail address, and phone.
