The Pyramid Model Foundations Training is an evidence based prevention/intervention framework that prevents challenging behaviors and promotes healthy social and emotional development by supporting positive relationships, creating engaging environments, providing concrete teaching strategies, and if/when needed creating individualized interventions for children. The Pyramid Model Foundations training is designed to provide ECL providers with skills and knowledge to support the needs of young children. The pyramid framework includes four levels of practice to address the needs of all children, including children with persistent challenging behaviors.
This training consists of a 2-hour self-reflection. This 7 hour session and the self-reflection must be completed in order to receive credit. No partial credit will be given.
This training is required for advancement to Level 2 in Learn & Grow:Strengthening Families and Pyramid Model Trainings are funded by:
