Unpacking Universal Promotion Strategies from the Pyramid Model

This training will explore promotion strategies from the Pyramid Model for Supporting Social Emotional Competence in Infants and Young Children (Pyramid Model). Participants will learn the importance of providing children with Nurturing and Responsive Relationships as well as High Quality Supportive Environments. They will also be provided with concrete examples of developmentally appropriate teaching practices that they can use and apply immediately with in their classrooms. This eight-part training series** will also walk participants through goal setting, implementation of new practices, and self-reflection. Training is limited to eight participants so they can practice offering and receiving positive supportive feedback with peers.
