Safety Saturday - Active Shooter Preparedness and Fire Safety & Prevention

This Safety Saturday event is designed to provide an opportunity for early educators to be together learning and practicing life-saving skills and techniques. This is an opportunity to bring community partners together in a way that helps create relationships and increase the overall safety of the community. The Institute for Childhood Preparedness will be offering;

• 3-hour Active Shooter Preparedness Training with hands-on practical exercise.
• Hands-on Fire Extinguisher training. With the oversight and cooperation of local fire department personnel, participants will practice basic fire extinguishment techniques.
