This workshop will support participants in recognizing that challenging behaviors in young children can have multiple causes. Participants will be able to recognize toxic stress patterns in children, families and themselves. Developmentally appropriate expectations for emotion control in very young children will be explored. We will “connect the dots” between stress reduction and the ability to modulate emotions so that young children are ready to learn.
This training is facilitated by the Alaska Infant Learning Program.
